The Taraba state governor, Danbaba
Suntai has dissolved the state executive
council. Also sent packing are all special
advisers but not special assistants.
Governor Suntai has also approved the
appointment of Mr. Gibon Timothy Kataps
as the Secretary to the State
Government, while Mallam Aminu Jika is
the new Chief of Staff.
The governor, who made the changes
through his Senior Special Assistant on
Media and Publicity, Mr. Sylvanus Giwa,
also directed all commissioners to hand
over to their respective permanent
secretaries while the special advisers are
to hand over to the Government House.
